Kenya Power has announced a planned power maintenance exercise scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, November 3, 2025, that will affect several key areas along Arwings Kodhek Road in the Nairobi Region.
The maintenance will result in an eight-hour power outage, beginning at 9:00 A.M. and ends at 5:00 P.M.
In a notice shared via its official channels on Sunday, November 2, 2025, the utility company listed numerous institutions and businesses that will be impacted by the interruption.
Please note that the following areas are scheduled for planned power maintenance tomorrow, 3rd November 2025,” Kenya Power said on an X account.
The statement adds, “Areas to be affected include part of Arwings Kodhek Road, Ralph Bunche Road, Nelson Awour Centre, Nairobi Hospital, Landmark Plaza, Lee Funeral Home, Upper Hill Medical Hospital, and the UN Dental School.”

Kenya Power clarified that the maintenance exercise is part of our ongoing efforts to improve the reliability and stability of the electricity supply within the Nairobi region.
The utility stressed that such scheduled activities are critical to ensuring consistent and safe electricity distribution, especially in high-demand urban areas.
Kenya Power advises all customers in the affected zones to make necessary arrangements to minimize disruption during the maintenance period.
