The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) have officially opened the application portal for the March 2026 intake at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
This recruitment drive provides a chance for thousands of secondary school graduates to enroll in various medical and health science courses at campuses nationwide.
According to the announcement made by KUCCPS, the application window for the upcoming March intake will run from January 7 to January 27, 2026.
KUCCPS also stated that KMTC has recommended lowering the minimum requirement in Biology/Biological Sciences for the Certificate in Health Insurance Management Programme, from a minimum of D+ to a minimum of D (plain).
The report further stated that 21,774 vacancies are available in 36 Diploma and Certificate programmes offered in 98 KMTC campuses across the country.

How to Apply
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1. Check Eligibility & Course Info: Visit the KMTC website to find available courses, minimum entry requirements, and program codes for the specific intake.
2. Log In to KUCCPS Account: Go to the KUCCPS Student Portal and log in with your National ID and email or create an account if you're a new user.
3. Navigate to KMTC Portal: Find and select "KMTC Placement" from the dropdown menu within the portal.
4. Select & Prioritize Courses: Choose your preferred courses and campuses (up to 4), entering the correct program codes in order of priority (1 being most preferred).
5. Fill & Submit Form: Complete the online application with accurate personal and academic details, then submit.
6. Pay Application Fee: A payment prompt will appear; pay the fee (e.g., Ksh 1,500 or Ksh 2,072) via mobile money using the displayed instructions.
7. Confirm & Wait: Review your application and submit. Ensure your email is active for updates
