APS Bomet Crush 3K FC To Secure First Premier League Win

By

APS Bomet FC have registered their first win of the season after thrashing newly promoted 3KF FC 3-0 at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

The win comes as a relief for fans after APS Bomet kicked off the season with a defeat to Premier League giants Gor Mahia and a draw to Nairobi United.

The Bomet-based side outclassed 3K FC from the start, opening their scoring in the 9th minute through Rodgers Kipkemoi.

Kipkemoi took advantage of the visiting team’s defensive lapse to score an easy goal, sending Bomet FC fans wild.

The goal from Rodgers set the rhythm for APS Bomet, and it did not take long before extending the lead through Bruno Bunyaga.

After the breather, 3K FC’s ttempts to change the tempo of the match by bridging in fresh blood did not bore fruits.

Bonface Mwangemi lumbed more troubles for 3K FC after securing the third goal for APS Bomet in the 74th minute.

“ 3K FC struggled to break down our defense in the second half but we stood firm and emerged winners,” a traveling fan shared while celebrating the win.

He said the win came as a much needed relief saying the effort shown in the dying moments of the last season had not picked up.

The victory marks a crucial turning point for APS Bomet, providing a much-needed confidence boost and earning them three valuable points as they aim to climb the league standings.

Head Coach Sammy Omollo could not hide his joy saying their plan against 3K FC worked.

“My boys stuck to the script that we drew and that is how we emerged victorious today. What I just want to assure our fans is that we are not looking back,” Pamzo added.
