The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has opened a fresh membership registration and verification drive ahead of its party primaries for the 2027 General Election.
In a notice dated September 29, 2026, the party’s National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) urged supporters to register as members and existing members to verify their details ahead of the nomination exercise.
The notice was signed by NECC Chairperson Hon. Emily Awita.
ODM said only registered party members will be eligible to participate in the 2027 party primaries, either as voters or aspirants.
“All Party members are also encouraged to verify their membership status to ensure that their details have been captured accurately and are up to date,” the notice stated.
Supporters seeking to register can dial *483*036# or use the party’s online membership platform. ODM’s official website also provides an online membership application and lists membership as a way of participating in party elections and seeking party positions.
The latest notice comes as ODM steps up preparations for the 2027 elections. The party had earlier invited applications from aspirants seeking its ticket for positions ranging from president to Member of County Assembly, with membership verification included in the nomination preparations.
ODM leaders have also recently stressed the importance of competitive nominations, with party officials saying aspirants seeking the party’s tickets should go through the nomination process.
The party has asked members requiring assistance to visit its headquarters at Chungwa House along Loiyangalani Drive, off Convent Drive, Lavington, Nairobi, or contact the party through 0721 953 318.
ODM’s official website lists its headquarters contact as 020-5249622 and provides information on membership, nomination forms and party rules.
