However, Zone Four, which includes Boito and Embomos wards, is expected to receive showers over several places towards the end of the week, particularly on Friday.
Temperatures across the county are forecast to remain cool, with minimum temperatures ranging between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures of between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius.
“The weekly forecast should be used together with the daily 24-hour and five-day forecasts, as well as any advisories issued by the Kenya Meteorological Department,” the department advised.
The Meteorological Department also noted that light rainfall is classified as less than five millimetres, while moderate rainfall ranges between five and 20 millimetres.
Residents, especially farmers and motorists, have been urged to keep track of daily weather updates to plan their activities and take necessary precautions during afternoon thunderstorms.
