Bomet County Assembly invites suppliers to register for 2026-2028 procurement opportunities

The County Assembly of Bomet has invited interested firms and service providers to apply for registration as suppliers for the provision of goods and services for the 2026-2028 financial years.

In a tender notice on Wednesday , July 8, 2026, the Assembly said the registration is intended to create a pool of suppliers who will provide goods and services on an “as and when required basis” during the two-year period.

According to the notice, applicants must submit several mandatory documents, including a valid certificate of registration or incorporation, a valid tax compliance certificate, a valid AGPO certificate for reserved categories where applicable, registration with relevant professional bodies, proof of registration on the Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) platform, and proof of IFMIS registration.

The Assembly said complete tender documents can be obtained free of charge from its official website and through the State Tender Portal on the eGP platform.

How to submit the application

Interested bidders have been directed to submit their applications in plain sealed envelopes clearly bearing the tender number in bold but without indicating the bidder’s name.

The documents should be deposited in the tender box located on the ground floor of the County Assembly’s main building and addressed to the Clerk of the County Assembly.

The deadline for submission is Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

“Bids will be opened publicly immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will not be accepted whatsoever and shall be returned unopened,” the notice states.

The Assembly further advised that any queries regarding the tender should be directed to the Supply Chain Management Directorate through the procurement email provided in the notice.
